Description
A draft instance is a copy of the state (the collection of the value of all data items) of an instance of a business class. It is stored in the application database. It allows end-users to work on a document (like for example a journal entry) and save a temporary version of their work to continue it on another day. This temporary version is not visible to other users and may even contain incorrect data.
