project BLF > class BSystem > method ApiGetDaemonStatusInformation
Description
information about active daemons in the system
This method returns the real status of daemons, including the status as marked in the database, and for each of the running instances, the indication whether the process is still active or not.
Parameters
tDaemonStatusInfo | output | temp-table | |
oiReturnStatus | output | integer | Return status of the method. |
Internal usage
unused
program code (program3/bsystem.p)
/*For each daemon where fcdaemon.DaemonMaxNumberOfInstances > 0,
and each of the processes in the DaemonRunningProcesses do the following:
? Create a record in the output table tDaemonStatusInfo.
? Fill in the current daemon status in the database (fcDaemon.DaemonStatus).
? Check whether the process is still active on the server.
If the daemon is indicated to run on a different physical server (the ?DaemonAppServerConnection? is specified),
this needs to be done via a call to another appserver.
If the process id is still in the process table of the server, then indicate the true status as ?true?, else ?false?.
