project BLF > class BBaseDaemon > method ApiDaemonIsRunning

Description

This method can be used to check whether a daemon is running on the central server. It internally makes sure the daemon updates its own status to reflect the real processes running on the system, before it checks the status. It returns the number of instances active for the daemon in an output paramter.

Parameters

oiNumberOfInstancesoutputintegerNumber or running instances (processes) for the daemon.
oiReturnStatusoutputintegerReturn status of the method.

Internal usage
